Just inside the North gate. Surrender your drivers license to the guard to get access. Good stop

Very cool place to visit. Gift shop lady was nice & knowledgeable of AF history.

Nice museum, educational and amazing artifacts. Be prepared to hand over your ID as you will be entering the air force base.

It is a bit of a walk to see all the airplanes on display but if you don't mind that there is an okay selection of aircraft. The main entrance door to the museum was locked well past opening time so after walking the Manchu mile to see the airplanes and coming back and still finding it locked, on a whim I called the number from their website for the gift store and found out that the gentleman was there and had just forgotten to unlock the front door. He jokingly called it crowd control. Lol. The museum itself has quite an interesting collection of memorabilia. The one item that I found the most interesting was the Podium that President Bush used to broadcast to the nation on the morning of 9/11 when his aircraft diverted to Barksdale Air Force Base until they could get a handle on what was really happening that day. There was also a video playing in that room showing how they set up that day for the unexpected arrival of the president and some of the security measures they took for Traffic Control and other things. Remember Pearl Harbor. Remember 911

There was 1 room where there was a board sticking up about 5 inches and l trupped on it. There were no warnings about it and it was not painted to earn you..l suggest they do something about . Especially the way people are so happy now a days.
